Justin’s Bieber’s new single “What Do You Mean” made its worldwide debut on Friday August 28 – and everyone is buzzing about it. That is, everyone except for Justin’s ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, who has remained relatively silent about his new song. Actions speak volumes, and it was pretty clear that Selena was not supporting his new music (which he confessed is about her), when she was literally one of the only celebrities who didn’t help Justin promote his song on social media. Seriously, even Hilary Duff found time to participate in the big countdown.

We have all been counting down the days until “What Do You Mean” big debut, and eager to hear what Biebs had to say about Selena in the new song. Sadly, it wasn’t much of a diss track, and we were really hoping for him to expose his former girlfriend and their messy relationship a little bit more. Instead, Justin kept it vague with lyrics like, “What do you mean? / When you nod your head yes / But you wanna say no / What do you mean?” It was much more subtle than his previous track “Where Are U Now,” which contained Selena’s name in the music video.

You would think that Selena Gomez would be thrilled Justin didn’t do her in like everyone had predicted. But, sources close to Selena reveal that she was actually disappointed. An insider dished, “Selena was really hoping that Justin would mention her, or at least make it obvious the song was about her. That song could have been about any girl. She was banking on his song creating a ton of buzz to help her promote her new album.”

Selena Gomez Performs Last at Taylor Swift's 1989 World Tour in L.A.

The 25 year old popstar is totally unstoppable! Taylor Swift just did it again - she always has successful concerts anywhere she performs.
On Aug. 26, she was able to pull off a list of incredible guest performers including Justin Timberlake, Lisa Kudrow and her almost 8 years best friend, Selena Gomez. The 1989 World Tour was held at the iconic Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

Selena Gomez hit the stage with Taylor Swift as the first surprise guest. The two ladies sang "Good For You" live for the very first time together.

"The person about to come out onto the stage is a multi-talented performer who's good at pretty much everything that she does. She is beautiful and funny and sweet and talented and intelligent and one of my best friends," said Taylor before Selena showed up on stage. 
Next to perform with Taylor was Justin Timberlake. Like any other 90s kid, Swift is a huge fans of Justin T. Long before he became a solo artist, Justin was part of the hit boy band N'Sync.
"You have no idea. I don't even know where to start because anyone who knows me knows this is my favorite artist," gushed Swift about Timberlake before the duo sang his hit "Mirrors."
Last but not least to perform on stage was Lisa Kudrow. Taylor and Lisa sang their rendition of "Smelly Cat," which Kudrow said she hadn't performed since the hit TV series "Friends" ended.
Taylor Swift has set a new record for the "Most Sold Out Performances" at the Staples Center in Los Angeles for her final 1989 World Tour in the City of Angels. 
By the looks of it, it is obvious that her audience totally enjoyed her 1989 World Tour. There's definitely more to come for Taylor Swift!

Selena Gomez, Justin Timberlake join Taylor Swift’s '1989' tour Staples Center show

The Daily Mail reports Selena Gomez was the first to step on stage. The two BFFs performed Swift’s song “Good For You” in matching boots.
Later, as a totally out of left-field appearance, Lisa Kudrow performed “Smelly Cat” from Friends with the “Shake It Off” star.
As the final guest appearance of the night, Justin Timberlake arrived, looking somewhat casual in jeans and a fedora. Swift, too, toned down her style to match, and the two sang Timberlake’s “Mirrors.”
The series of five sold-out shows ended on a star-studded note. For that last show, it was reported that Reese Witherspoon, Alessandra Ambrosio, Ruby Rose, Julianne Hough, Mario Lopez and Nina Dobrev were all in the audience.

Selena Gomez opens up about ditching purity ring

Pop star Selena Gomez has opened up about ditching her purity ring, revealing she stopped wearing the chastity jewellery shortly after she began dating Justin Bieber.

The Heart Wants What It Wants hitmaker first wore the symbol of abstinence when she dated fellow Disney star Nick Jonas, who also wore a similar ring along with his bandmate brothers.

But eagle-eyed fans noticed she took off the ring shortly after she began dating Bieber in late 2010, and now Gomez is opening up about how her personal views on sex before marriage changed.

She tells the U.K.'s The Sunday Times, "I'm not embarrassed to say that. I'm also not embarrassed to say that the ring has come off. I got it when I was 13 and I respect so much what it represented, but it isn't for everyone."
And like the Jonas Brothers, Gomez was also an easy target to poke fun at for flaunting a purity ring, and she confesses some of the jokes were not so funny.

She says, "Sometimes you have to lie to yourself to get through the criticism, and then you're in your closet crying. It has been like that for me a couple of times, but I only want to learn from those things."
As for her three-year on-and-off relationship with Bieber, Gomez admits their highly-publicized love life was all about the pressure, adding, "It's difficult for people to separate us. The internet wants to freeze this moment in time and constantly repeat it...

"I didn't think I was doing anything bad by falling in love. There's such an emphasis on people being the perfect thing and then destroying them because it's good press. Also, throw in the fact that you are a teenager... it makes it more difficult."

Singer-actress Selena Gomez has opened up about her relationship with pop star Justin Bieber, admitting she has no regrets about “falling in love”.The former Disney star, 23, dated Bieber, 21, on and off for three years – and she insists their heartbreaking split won’t stop her falling for someone again in the future, reports mirror.co.uk.
“It’s difficult for people to separate us. The internet wants to freeze this moment in time and constantly repeat it,” Gomez was quoted as saying by the Sunday Times Style Magazine.“I didn’t think I was doing anything bad by falling in love,” she added.

Selena Gomez & Justin Bieber Diss Each Other On Stage at 2015 VMAs: Mash-Up Of ‘Good For You’ & ‘What Do You Mean’?

Are Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber performing together at the MTV’s 2015 VMA Awards? Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are not dating. As a matter of fact, they are both currently promoting songs that they wrote about each other. Selena has confessed that her hit single “Good For You” was inspired by her relationship with Biebs. Justin is currently promoting his new song, “What Do You Mean,” which turns out to be a diss track about Selena because she was too “flip-floppy” and they tried to rekindle their relationship while she was still hooking up with Orlando Bloom.

Selena and Justin are both expected to take the stage during MTV’s 2015 Video Music Awards, and rumor has it they may be performing a mash-up of their new songs together. This could be a total disaster, but also pure publicity genius on MTV’s behalf. Selena and Justin are not on good terms at the moment, and Selena is not happy about his latest song “What Do You Mean.” Justin obviously isn’t SelGo’s biggest fan either, seeing as how she tried to play him and was hooking up with Orlando Bloom behind his back this year.

We can’t even imagine the craziness that would ensue if Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber took the stage at the same time. And, we are really curious to see what “What Do You Mean” and “Good For You” sound like together. On the bright side, this could be good news for “Jelena” fans. Maybe performing together on a stage could reignite an old flame between Biebs and Selena, and they could wind up dating again.

Selena Gomez Talks About New Album ‘Revival’ & A Potential Chris Brown Collab

 


Selena Gomez has been going SERIOUSLY sexy for her new album ‘Revival’ if ‘Good For You’ is anything to go by – and she’s revealed what else we can expect.
Speaking to Capital’s Max, Selena revealed that there wouldn’t be a Chris Brown collab on this album – but she’s open to working with him in the future.

Selena revealed, “I would try to give you some sort of hints about it but there actually isn’t anything on the record with Chris [Brown]. I am such a huge fan of his and it was actually after the album where we ended up kind of like talking about music.
“So, not to say there isn’t opportunity for it, but honestly I love his music, I think he’s so incredible and I’m a big fan of hip hop and all that, so I’m a huge fan.”

Selena revealed the title of her new album, ‘Revival’, on her Instagram last month with an ever-so-slightly ominous video, also showing the release date as 9^th October.
We’ve only heard one cut from the record so far – ‘Good For You’ featuring ASAP Rocky, but it sounds like we have a LOT to look forward to from Miss Gomez!
