Singer-actress Selena Gomez to sell her estate in a gated Calabasas community

Singer and actress Selena Gomez has listed her house in a gated Calabasas community for sale at $4.495 million. She bought the compound a year and a half ago for $3.69 million.

The more-than-three-acre property features a main house with five fireplaces, stone tile floors, a kitchen with an island, a breakfast nook, a formal dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows, a theater, a gym, a wine cellar, five bedrooms and six bathrooms. The master suite, painted a passionate purple, has a sitting area and an enormous closet.

The 7,786 square feet of living space also includes a one-bedroom, one-bathroom guesthouse with a kitchen.

There’s a four-car garage and on-site parking for more than 10 vehicles. A swimming pool with a spa, a cabana, an outdoor kitchen and a brick pizza oven complete the grounds.

Gomez released her second solo album, “Revival,” this year. She recorded three albums earlier as part of Selena Gomez & the Scene.

Jake Bailey Dead: Makeup Artist To Selena Gomez & More Dies From Apparent Suicide

A makeup artist best known for his work with Katy Perry, Selena Gomez, and has reportedly committed suicide. RIP, Jake Bailey.

Jake Bailey, 37, has reportedly taken his own life. The renowned makeup artist was found unresponsive at his home in Los Angeles, California on Friday morning, Oct. 23 by his assistant, the LA Coroner’s office has confirmed to MTV News. So sad.

How sad. Jake Bailey, a talented makeup artist who frequently worked with some of the top names in Hollywood, was reportedly found dead from carbon monoxide poisoning, reports TMZ. Sadly, there doesn’t appear to be any foul play in the tragic situation, although the L. A. Coroner’s Office has confirmed that they will perform on autopsy on the artist’s body.

“Mr. Bailey was found unresponsive by his friend at his residence this morning at 8:25 on the 2200 block of Holly drive. There was an apparent suicide involving carbon monoxide poison. There’s an autopsy pending. And the final cause of death are pending full toxicology,” Los Angeles County Department of Medical examiner/coroner; assistant chief, Ed Winter, tellsHollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

One of Jake’s most recent projects as a makeup artist was Selena Gomez‘s new album cover,Revival.  Selena Gomez hit all the usual notes in the run-up to “Revival,” the first album this former Disney Channel star has made outside the House of Mouse.
There was a sexed-up lead single, “Good for You,” with a roguish guest verse from rapper ASAP Rocky. There was the song’s music video, in which Gomez writhes on a sofa before jumping in the shower. And there were comments in interviews about her hard-won liberation from the repressive constraints of the Disney machine.
So far, so Miley.
Yet that’s where Gomez, 23, stopped following the script for a tween idol looking to grow up in public. Far from a scorched-earth rebranding a la Cyrus’ 2013 raunchfest “Bangerz,” “Revival” turns out to be surprisingly modest, from its midtempo pacing to its thoughtful introspection.

Even “Good for You,” which seemed to presage an album long on breathy bedroom talk, is less about titillation than female solidarity, she told Billboard in a cover story that also revealed she’d recently entered rehab not for addiction but for treatment of lupus.
Weeks after Cyrus released an unlistenable, indulgent freak-out with the Flaming Lips, “Revival” feels almost radical in its judiciousness.
Am I making Gomez sound like Natalie Merchant? OK, hold up.
Collaborating with Top 40 regulars like Benny Blanco, Stargate and the Swedish duo Mattman & Robin (who also worked on “1989” by Gomez’s pal Taylor Swift), the singer juices her once-edgeless music with some grabby textures, as in the throbbing dance cut “Body Heat” and “Me & the Rhythm,” an ’80s-flavored jam about how “everybody wants to be touched.”

Selena Gomez Announces Revival Tour Dates

Selena Gomez is ready to unleash the Revival era.

Just days before the release of her upcoming album on Friday, the singer announced exactly where and when she'll be touring to promote the album.

All pre-orders of Revival on Gomez's website will now grant fans early access to tickets for the tour. The pre-order will come with "Advance Ticket Access to next tour (via a unique code emailed before the tour's general on-sale)," according to the site.

According to Ticketmaster's website, general ticket sales begin Oct. 17 at 10 a.m. ET. 

Gomez had already teased to the tour on Instagram, saying that it would begin with dates in the U.S. and Canada next summer followed by more dates in late 2016.

What do you mean take the car?’ He always walked to his shows, just walk through the door, and he’d never take the car. Selena Gomez: "I Don't Know" If Justin Bieber and I Will Get Back Together

Yes? No? Maybe so? Selena Gomez isn’t ruling out getting back together with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber. The “Same Old Love” singer, 22, opened up to Elle magazine and admitted that although she’s sick of everyone being obsessed with her past relationship, never say never.

“I’ll forever support him and love him in a way that,” Gomez said of Bieber, 21, after clarifying they’re now just “genuinely” good friends. “We grew up together. I think people want it to be different…[but] I respect him. And I think he respects me, in a healthy manner.”
When asked if she thinks she and Bieber, who dated between 2011 and 2014, will ever get back together, Gomez responded, laughing, “I don’t know!”

She does, however, know that she wants to move on from being associated solely with her ex. “[It’s] not necessarily about a specific relationship,” Gomez said of her emotional new track “Same Old Love.” “Sometimes you're stuck in the same cycle. This is kind of my 'forget it' song. I'm sick of all of it.”
Take, for example, her performance of “The Heart Wants What It Wants” at last year’s American Music Awards. “Everybody was talking about the same thing: my relationship,” Gomez recalled. “I was so exhausted. I said, ‘I want this [performance] to be the last time I have to talk about this.' And acknowledge this feeling. I was kind of devastated. I was like, ‘This is all I have right now. She likely woke up like this. Selena Gomez, 23, is the cover star of Wonderland magazine’s 10th anniversary issue, and we can’t get over how amazing she looks on the cover. Selena posted the image on Instagram Sept. 14, and upon seeing it, our jaws hit the floor. Check it out!

“The 10th Anniversary Issue of Wonderland is about to hit shelves – this time one of our cover stars is Disney kid turned pop idol, @SelenaGomez, shot and interviewed by @PetrafCollinsstyled by@emersondanielle 💗,” Wonderland magazine wrote on Instagram, while Selena added, “@wonderlandmag cover and shot by @petrafcollins -one of my favorites.”

Just last month, Wonderland magazine teased the new photo shoot by posting a sexy pic of the singer, while saying, “Coming soon, Petra Collins shoots actress and singer Selena Gomez for Wonderland.” That image showed Selena laying on a bed in a short black-and-white striped dress. It’s really beautiful, but we can’t get over how stunning Selena looks on the cover.

Selena is actually going for a more adult image ahead of the release of her new album, Revival. After posing topless for the cover of her forthcoming album, Selena told Power 106’s The Cruz Show, “This is my time. I’m not gonna give a f**k what people say. I’m not going to let them get to me. I’m going to do what I want.” Good for her! Obviously, she’s doing something right because her new photos have yet to disappoint us.

Selena Gomez Hates Justin Bieber’s New Song ‘What Do You Mean’ – SelGo Was Banking on Publicity but Biebs Didn’t Mention Her

Justin’s Bieber’s new single “What Do You Mean” made its worldwide debut on Friday August 28 – and everyone is buzzing about it. That is, everyone except for Justin’s ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, who has remained relatively silent about his new song. Actions speak volumes, and it was pretty clear that Selena was not supporting his new music (which he confessed is about her), when she was literally one of the only celebrities who didn’t help Justin promote his song on social media. Seriously, even Hilary Duff found time to participate in the big countdown.

We have all been counting down the days until “What Do You Mean” big debut, and eager to hear what Biebs had to say about Selena in the new song. Sadly, it wasn’t much of a diss track, and we were really hoping for him to expose his former girlfriend and their messy relationship a little bit more. Instead, Justin kept it vague with lyrics like, “What do you mean? / When you nod your head yes / But you wanna say no / What do you mean?” It was much more subtle than his previous track “Where Are U Now,” which contained Selena’s name in the music video.

You would think that Selena Gomez would be thrilled Justin didn’t do her in like everyone had predicted. But, sources close to Selena reveal that she was actually disappointed. An insider dished, “Selena was really hoping that Justin would mention her, or at least make it obvious the song was about her. That song could have been about any girl. Selena Gomez Performs Last at Taylor Swift's 1989 World Tour in L.A.

The 25 year old popstar is totally unstoppable! Taylor Swift just did it again - she always has successful concerts anywhere she performs.
On Aug. 26, she was able to pull off a list of incredible guest performers including Justin Timberlake, Lisa Kudrow and her almost 8 years best friend, Selena Gomez. The 1989 World Tour was held at the iconic Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

Selena Gomez hit the stage with Taylor Swift as the first surprise guest. The two ladies sang "Good For You" live for the very first time together.

"The person about to come out onto the stage is a multi-talented performer who's good at pretty much everything that she does. She is beautiful and funny and sweet and talented and intelligent and one of my best friends," said Taylor before Selena showed up on stage. 
Next to perform with Taylor was Justin Timberlake. Like any other 90s kid, Swift is a huge fans of Justin T. Long before he became a solo artist, Justin was part of the hit boy band N'Sync.
"You have no idea. I don't even know where to start because anyone who knows me knows this is my favorite artist," gushed Swift about Timberlake before the duo sang his hit "Mirrors."
Last but not least to perform on stage was Lisa Kudrow. Taylor and Lisa sang their rendition of "Smelly Cat," which Kudrow said she hadn't performed since the hit TV series "Friends" ended.
Taylor Swift has set a new record for the "Most Sold Out Performances" at the Staples Center in Los Angeles for her final 1989 World Tour in the City of Angels. 
By the looks of it, it is obvious that her audience totally enjoyed her 1989 World Tour. There's definitely more to come for Taylor Swift!

The Daily Mail reports Selena Gomez was the first to step on stage. The two BFFs performed Swift’s song “Good For You” in matching boots.
Later, as a totally out of left-field appearance, Lisa Kudrow performed “Smelly Cat” from Friends with the “Shake It Off” star.
As the final guest appearance of the night, Justin Timberlake arrived, looking somewhat casual in jeans and a fedora. Swift, too, toned down her style to match, and the two sang Timberlake’s “Mirrors.”
The series of five sold-out shows ended on a star-studded note. For that last show, it was reported that Reese Witherspoon, Alessandra Ambrosio, Ruby Rose, Julianne Hough, Mario Lopez and Nina Dobrev were all in the audience.

Selena Gomez opens up about ditching purity ring

Pop star Selena Gomez has opened up about ditching her purity ring, revealing she stopped wearing the chastity jewellery shortly after she began dating Justin Bieber.

The Heart Wants What It Wants hitmaker first wore the symbol of abstinence when she dated fellow Disney star Nick Jonas, who also wore a similar ring along with his bandmate brothers.

But eagle-eyed fans noticed she took off the ring shortly after she began dating Bieber in late 2010, and now Gomez is opening up about how her personal views on sex before marriage changed.

She tells the U.K.'s The Sunday Times, "I'm not embarrassed to say that. I'm also not embarrassed to say that the ring has come off. I got it when I was 13 and I respect so much what it represented, but it isn't for everyone."
And like the Jonas Brothers, Gomez was also an easy target to poke fun at for flaunting a purity ring, and she confesses some of the jokes were not so funny.

She says, "Sometimes you have to lie to yourself to get through the criticism, and then you're in your closet crying. It has been like that for me a couple of times, but I only want to learn from those things."
As for her three-year on-and-off relationship with Bieber, Gomez admits their highly-publicized love life was all about the pressure, adding, "It's difficult for people to separate us. The internet wants to freeze this moment in time and constantly repeat it...

Are Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber performing together at the MTV’s 2015 VMA Awards? Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are not dating. As a matter of fact, they are both currently promoting songs that they wrote about each other. Selena has confessed that her hit single “Good For You” was inspired by her relationship with Biebs. Justin is currently promoting his new song, “What Do You Mean,” which turns out to be a diss track about Selena because she was too “flip-floppy” and they tried to rekindle their relationship while she was still hooking up with Orlando Bloom.

Selena and Justin are both expected to take the stage during MTV’s 2015 Video Music Awards, and rumor has it they may be performing a mash-up of their new songs together. This could be a total disaster, but also pure publicity genius on MTV’s behalf. Selena and Justin are not on good terms at the moment, and Selena is not happy about his latest song “What Do You Mean.” Justin obviously isn’t SelGo’s biggest fan either, seeing as how she tried to play him and was hooking up with Orlando Bloom behind his back this year.

Selena Gomez Talks About New Album ‘Revival’ & A Potential Chris Brown Collab

 


Selena Gomez has been going SERIOUSLY sexy for her new album ‘Revival’ if ‘Good For You’ is anything to go by – and she’s revealed what else we can expect.
Speaking to Capital’s Max, Selena revealed that there wouldn’t be a Chris Brown collab on this album – but she’s open to working with him in the future.

Selena revealed, “I would try to give you some sort of hints about it but there actually isn’t anything on the record with Chris [Brown]. I am such a huge fan of his and it was actually after the album where we ended up kind of like talking about music.
“So, not to say there isn’t opportunity for it, but honestly I love his music, I think he’s so incredible and I’m a big fan of hip hop and all that, so I’m a huge fan.”

Selena revealed the title of her new album, ‘Revival’, on her Instagram last month with an ever-so-slightly ominous video, also showing the release date as 9^th October.
We’ve only heard one cut from the record so far – ‘Good For You’ featuring ASAP Rocky, but it sounds like we have a LOT to look forward to from Miss Gomez!
