Selena Gomez’s sultry music video was simply well done. The director of ‘Same Old Love’ opened up about the famous person behind the video’s storyline. Did Selena have Justin Bieber on her mind when she made this music video?
We know about Selena Gomez‘s, 23, sexy black mini dress and how to achieve the same smokey eye look as her’s, but what many don’t know is who inspired the singer’s simplistic music video. Well, the director of “Same Old Love” revealed the man who influenced the video. Could it have been Justin Bieber, 21?
The video was actually inspired by Tony Bennett, 89! “Same Old Love” director Michael Haussman recalled the memory that inspired him to create the music video’s storyline. “I remember when Tony Bennett — his daughter and I were friends in New York — was giving a show at Radio City and he was leaving and said, ’You guys can take the car,’” Michael told MTV. “And we were like ’What?! What do you mean take the car?’ He always walked to his shows, just walk through the door, and he’d never take the car. That always stuck in my head too.” But, the final cut of the music video wasn’t exactly Michael’s original vision.
